We are now proud to offer naturally grown yarn from the sheep pictured above. Our wool is processed by Custom Woollen Mills in Alberta, Canada. This exquisite single ply yarn is perfect for sweaters, hats and socks. If overspun it makes a beautiful yarn for backstrap weaving and could be plyed for almost any other use. The 1997 crop is now available with our 1998 harvest coming back in mid summer. Each skein weighs about 4oz and can be purchased directly from us for just seven dollars plus shipping and handling. Sample cards are available for a buck, just place a dollar bill in a self addressed stamped envelope, put it in the mail, and we'll return the sample to you. Spinhaven Ranch also creates custom weavings by commision, rag rugs, and felted cat balls. Just drop us a line for more information on these marvelous products. We are available for classes and demonstrations and have been a featured exhibit at the Marin County Fair, the annual Marin County 4-H Farm Day, the Sonoma-Marin Fair, and many other celebrations of farm life in northern California.
